Landscapes

Moya's landscape and plein air works are grounded in a deep appreciation for place and presence. Working directly from life, often outdoors and in changing light, she captures fleeting moments in the natural world with immediacy and sensitivity. These works reflect not only the land's form and texture, but also its shifting moods - windswept coastlines, golden fields, quiet bush scenes, and the subtle play of atmosphere across sky and earth. Moya has a particular love of the South Island of New Zealand and enjoys exploring the curves and crevices of the mountains of the Southern Alps.

Each painting is a dialogue between observation and intuition. Whether completed in the field or developed further in the studio, Moya's landscapes carry a sense of stillness and belonging — inviting the viewer to slow down, breathe, and see the land anew.
